DESCRIPTION:The South African Institute of Electrical Engineers are hosting a smart grid conference from  23– 25 February 2016\, at the Eskom academy of learning in Midrand Johannesburg. \nThe conference will provide a platform for industry to discuss cutting edge innovations in smart grid and its associated technologies; including addressing how the current electricity network can be converted into a smart grid. \nIt is strongly believed that the adoption of smart grid technology within sub Saharan Africa will provide immense benefit to the delivery of electrical energy in this region. \nThe conference will include keynote addresses\, plenary presentations and panel discussions\, as well as paper presentations in two simultaneous tracks \n
