DESCRIPTION:The Africities 7 Summit\, the seventh edition of the Local Governments Pan-African Days\, will be held in Johannesburg\, South Africa\, from 29 November to 3 December 2015. \nIts central theme will be: “Shaping the future of Africa with the people: the contribution of African local authorities to agenda 2063 of the African union.” \n\n\nAll the Africities 7 session will be structured as follows: \nEach session lasts three hours. The interventions are limited to one hour (60 min). One hour and half (90 min) will be devoted to the debates and exchanges with the participants. \nThe last half hour (30 min) will be dedicated to the adoption of the resolutions and recommendations for the political sessions (mayors\, ministers\, African institutions\, cooperation partners). \nEach session will have 3-4 facilitators\, 2 mayors and 1 or 2 others representing institutions\, experts and other categories of stakeholders. \nEach session will be coordinated by a chairperson who will be an African mayor\, a facilitator and a rapporteur.
