DESCRIPTION:Road transportation plays an increasingly important role in the economic development of the region. With pressing needs to expand existing networks to keep pace with economic needs coupled with the burden of maintenance\, financing gaps and the desperate need to address road safety across the continent\, this meeting could not come at a better time. \nHosted by the IRF Geneva Programme Centre (IRF-GPC) and organised by IQPC\, the Africa Road and Bridge Forum will be a regional gathering of government authorities and relevant industry stakeholders to discuss these issues and to find solutions to engineer and maintain more sustainable\, cost-effective and safe road networks.
