SKF secures SEK 50 million order from Siemens for European railways

SKF announced that they have been awarded two contracts totaling around SEK 50 million from Siemens Rail Systems for railway projects in Europe.

“The European passenger transportation market has been strong and continues to grow,” says Henrik Lange, President, SKF Industrial Market, Strategic Industries. “We are happy to be able to deliver SKF advanced solutions to Siemens railway projects.”

SKF will deliver axle boxes and wheel set bearing units for Siemens’ rolling stock projects in the UK and Poland.
