Water Governance – August
Water governance refers to the political, social, economic, legislative and administrative systems in place that influence the use and management of water. The course addresses the international context of water governance and explores the South African legislation and institutional arrangements for the governance of water, including aspects such as water use license application (WULA) processes, and the preparation of integrated water and waste management plans (IWWMPs). An assessment will be conducted of the delegates’ level of learning during the course, and a certificate of attendance will be awarded to successful learners upon conclusion of the course, which can be used to claim 3 CPD points from WISA, SACNASP and ECSA.
