Knight Piésold lends a helping hand to the 5c’s | Infrastructure news

“The highest use of capital is not to make more money but to make money do more for the betterment of life.” — Henry Ford (1863 – 1947)

Knight Piésold understands the importance of giving money intelligently and it one of the company’s goals to better the lives of the people it comes into contact with.

Knight Piésold has been involved in exciting and beneficial social upliftment projects. One of the recent initiatives was the donation of R30 000 to the Christ Church Christian Care Centre in Berea, Gauteng. This was to help with the financial challenges that the centre had experienced recently; which included the write-off of the school bus due to a road accident.

The centre was established in July 2000 to care for the children of families affected by HIV/Aids. Knight Piésold has been supporting the centre since 2006 either through financial donations or resources. At present, there are approximately 39 children between the ages of 1 to 21, with 18 care givers.

The centre has, since its inception, produced responsible adults, whom are able to take care of themselves when they leave the centre. Pastor Mike Sunker, founder and director of the centre is very fond of the children and speaks passionately about his commitment to making their lives better.
Knight Piésold is in full support of such initiatives that help to shape the future generations to come.
