Joining fleet for first time | Infrastructure news

Four Iveco Daily’s have joined Globeflight’s fleet for the first time as the courier company look at diversifying its current range of vehicles.

Speaking to TWA at the handover, Vincent Muller national fleet manager for Globeflight said these four vehicles will operate at its Johannesburg branches and seem the ideal courier vehicles to slot in-between the company’s fleet of pick-ups and four tone delivery trucks.

The company is also considering introducing the Iveco Daily into its Durban and Cape Town operations and are currently testing the vehicle in those regions to see how they fare before any further decisions are made.

Concludes Muller, “This is the first time we are incorporating the Iveco Daily into our fleet and believe the vehicles will add value to our operations as they seem to fit perfectly in-between our current fleet of pick-ups and four-tonne trucks.”
