The National Development Plan of the Angolan government has prioritised outcomes of the main projects in the energy and water sector by 2017.
This was announced by the minister of Former Combatants and Motherland Veterans, Kundi Paihama, when addressing the main act of the celebrations of the 53 years of the beginning of the armed struggle for the national liberation. He added that the National Development Plan also includes the programme for the rehabilitation of secondary and tertiary roads, as well as the construction of structures of logistic platform and support for rural trade.The minister said that greater attention will be focused on the successful implementation of the municipal integrated programme for rural development and fight against hunger and poverty.
The event was also attended by the provincial governor, Paulo Pombolo, Media minister, José Luís de Matos, Secretaries of State and representatives of political parties with seat at the National Assembly. Information supplied by www.allafrica.com
