Current managing director of Buckman South Africa, Junai Maharaj, will now also assume responsibility as managing director of Buckman EMEA (Europe, Middle East and North Africa).

While the management of the two regions is being consolidated, the two regions, EMEA and South Africa, will still operate independently. This consolidation of EMEA and South Africa brings with it great opportunities that benefit each region through the synergy created with a consolidated management team, yet will maintain focus on the unique needs of each region. Customers will benefit from the attention to customer intimacy, enhanced market synergy, smoother knowledge dissemination, and the greater access to best practices and cost-effective solutions.

Martin Connor has been appointed general manager of operations of South Africa. All functions other than sales will report to Martin. Rob De Bruyn will continue in his role as general manager of sales for the region.
