Doing business in Africa | Infrastructure news

The IMF’s April 2014 Regional Economic Outlook report, Crossing the Border, anticipates a pickup in economic growth for the Sub-Saharan Africa region. However the region still faces risks from both internal and external factors. Among them is slower growth in emerging markets which could impact both export demand and commodity prices.
Despite slower growth in emerging markets, Africa still offers one of the world’s biggest growth opportunities.
The Cape Chamber of Commerce has crafted a programme of speakers offering practical advice to address these challenges and to inspire you with many opportunities open to companies bold enough to enter this exciting market.
Building on a very successful 2013 event, with over 150 attendees, the Cape Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting its flagship Doing Business in Africa event.
The event takes place on 23 July between 08:30 and 16:00 at the Atlantic Imbizo, Clocktower Suites, 3rd Floor, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.
It costs R300 for members and R400 for non-members.
For further information or to book your seat contact the event organiser Bronwyn Lewis on 021 402 4300 or blewis@capechamber.co.za.
