Africa on Track 2015 Summit | Infrastructure news

The African Corridor with its development opportunities for African railroads offers exciting investment prospects for the railroad and related industries. The upgrade, expansion and connection of railroads on the continent has resulted in huge investments in infrastructure, passenger transport, locomotives and rolling stock. There’s no doubt that the railroad is a crucial catalyst of African economic prospects.

The significance of the railroad and its rich history cannot be underestimated – it is a crucial catalyst of African economic growth prospects. What’s more, its heritage is unquestionably woven into the very fabric of our society, but it is a quality driven challenging industry that can only succeed if key partners come together – private companies, government and railroad operators to create a value-driven relationship.

As such, the JCCI who have been playing an integral role in these kinds of discussions, where they have been facilitating this change for the past 125 years – would like to invite you to their Africa on Track Conference where they will highlight the growth in rail along the African transport corridors – bringing together all the significant players in this dynamic industry.
