Impelluso has worked for Iveco parent company, CNH Industrial, in Spain, Italy and Brazil since 2001. He is reported to have a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, which “will add value to CNH Industrial Southern Africa” according to a statement issued by the company.
“Africa is an important market for the CNH Industrial Group. Our investment in the Rosslyn Plant in 2013 and our current investment in a new Parts Warehouse at the N1 Business Park show our commitment to the country,” he says. “We are developing our dealer network to ensure that our customers receive first class service, first-time. It is a privilege for me to be given this opportunity to take Iveco South Africa to the next phase of our development.” In other news, Iveco South Africa managing director, Eamonn Parker, will be leaving the country for a position dealing with the UK and Irish markets for the brand. Carmelo Impelluso will oversee operations at Iveco South Africa and the continent’s right-hand-drive markets. Impelluso replaces Mario Gasparri who has left the company to pursue other interests. Prior to this appointment, Impelluso was director of Iveco brand pre-owned vehicles in Turin, Italy, a position he held since September 2014.
