The world is using finite resources at an alarming rate. The solution is not to reduce the amount of material used in products, says Dame Ellen MacArthur. A more circular approach needs to be adopted so that materials can be reclaimed and reused. This is the basis of the circular economy.

The Ellen MacArthur Foundation has been able to raise $6 million from corporates through looking at a different business model and looking at this circular opportunity.
