South Africa recorded its lowest ever recorded rainfall levels in 2015. The drought, caused by climate change, El Niño, poor watershed management and bad farming practices ahs impacted large parts of the country.

Hack4Water demonstrates methods of creating drought, flood and climate change reliance that recharges South Africa’s watershed, builds rich soil to support cultivated ecologies and creates job opportunities.
