Demand Driven MRP has redefined how many of us look at our supply chains, with the methodology enabling us to practically leverage core supply chain principals that we came to believe in. At the heart of the change is pull based, network-wide visibility, readily available to each link in the supply chain and when this is then coupled with interconnected dynamic inventory modelling, DDMRP has arguably produced the silver bullet for supply chain customer centricity.

With Abe having made this shift to directly linking their supply chain to customer sales orders and leveraging decoupled inventory buffers we were able to deliver significant results and major service level improvements to our customers whilst significantly reducing production volatility.
