IMESA invites all members and non-members to submit papers for consideration for presentation at the prestigious IMESA Conference.

The theme for this year’s event is ‘Sustainable Engineering: back to basics for the future’, posing the question ‘Has technology in design made us forget the basic principles of engineering design?’

IMESA encourages a broad range of topics typically falling into the following areas:

  • Political, legal and regulatory
  • Ecological and environmental
  • Financial and social
  • Transport and traffic
  • Water and sanitation
  • Roads and stormwater
The IMESA Conference and Exhibition is regarded as one of the main events on the municipal engineering calendar, attracting around 1 000 delegates across Southern Africa.

The three-day-long event will run from 25 to 27 October 2017 at Emperor’s Palace in Gauteng.
