According to the company local assembly of the Ranger Raptor will take place at Ford’s Silverton assembly plant in Pretoria. It will also coincide with the introduction of an updated Ranger line-up due in 2019. “The response to our announcement that Ford will be introducing a Ranger Raptor has been absolutely phenomenal, and we’re exceptionally proud to now confirm that this highly anticipated performance model will be locally produced in South Africa,” Ockert Berry, VP Operations, Ford Middle East and Africa, said.
