Members of the public have until February to submit their nominations for the 2018 PETCO Awards.

The deadline for submission of nominations is before 5pm, Friday, 2 February and according to the PET Recycling Company (PETCO) the nominations must be motivated comprehensively.

This year’s awards feature 10 categories and include:

• PET-repreneur
• Local Authority Recycling Innovation
• Recycling Partnership Gamechanger
• Recycling Innovator of the Year
• Top Woman in Recycling
• Recycling & Waste Reduction Warrior
• Best Digital Technology supporting Recycling
• Media Spotlight

The awards recognise leadership and future-thinking across the PET industry and beyond in addressing recycling, reuse and waste minimisation.

Winners are recognised by their peers for contributing to advancing PET recycling and reflecting the principles of Extended Producer Responsibility, the circular economy, SMME development, and the advancement of women in their practices.
