International No-Dig Conference and Exhibition 2018 call for papers | Infrastructure news

International No-Dig 2018The International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT) is calling on all TT industry experts to submit their abstracts for an opportunity to showcase their innovative products and services at the 36th Annual International No-Dig Conference and Exhibition.

The event, which is hosted by the South African Society for Trenchless Technology (SASTT), is set to take place from the 8-9 October 2018 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), South Africa.

A one of a kind event

The organisers are now calling for papers to be included in the conference programme and prospective authors are invited to visit the official website www.nodigsouthafrica.com where full details may be found for submitting proposals. The deadline is 4 May 2018.

Paul Harwood, Managing Director of Westrade Group, says they are thrilled to be announcing this highly-respected event to be hosted in Cape Town, an event which continues to be the only one of its kind on the African continent to focus on trenchless technology.

“South Africa has a huge programme of new infrastructure installations planned in addition to the current and extensive renovation to its underground services and as such, was a logical choice of host,” he explains.

A year of firsts

“We are particularly excited that, for the first time, we will be offering day tours, overnight tours and private packages to Cape Town and its stunning environs as part of the programme. This provides an additional and unique opportunity for sponsors, exhibitors and delegates to network in a more informal environment,” Harwood adds.

Iinternational No-Dig 2018 is organised on behalf of ISTT and SASTT by UK based Westrade Group who are reporting that exhibition sales are already riding high, with many of the international players already booking their stands and negotiating sponsorship arrangements.
