Vaal cleanup could cost R1.1 billion | Infrastructure news

Minister Gugile Nkwinti has announced a R341 million injected into the Vaal River cleanup. During a site visit early this month, the South African Human Rights Commission’s Mohamed Ameermia stated that the contamination of the Vaal River must be addressed urgently, and that a clean up of the entire system would be in the order of R1.1 billion.
