The eThekwini Municipality has warned contractors of the dire consequences should they not honour agreements. The contract of a company doing Waste Removal Services was cancelled after they failed to deliver  and the services have been taken in-house. The decision only affects uMlazi Township and only municipal workers will be doing waste removal from the 1st of July.
