South Africa could run out of water in 2030 unless stringent measures are taken to rehabilitate and preserve rivers and catchment areas. This was re-emphasised by Water and Sanitation Minister Lindiwe Sisulu during AgriSA’s congress in Pretoria. Sisulu also delved into issues of regulation of water usage rights and pollution of resources by the mining sector.
