A court battle is looming between the National Energy Regulator and Eskom. The utility wants additional tariff increases for one-point-eight-billion-Rand in bonuses. It’s also trying to recover 69-billion-Rand additional revenue for the next two years. But Nersa says Eskom hasn’t done enough to achieve efficient operations or become financially stable.
