The safety of potable water has been a priority for decades, with treatment plants and monitoring systems playing a crucial role in ensuring water quality. To further strengthen water safety practices, a two-day comprehensive course on Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment (QMRA) and Quantitative Chemical Risk Assessment (QCRA) will be held in Cape Town (March 24-25, 2025) and Midrand (March 27-28, 2025, WISA headquarters).

Participants will gain hands-on experience with the Swedish QMRA software program, a free-to-download tool used for estimating infection risks in drinking water treatment plants under various scenarios.
