Infrastructure news welcomes you to 2014. After the sadness and celebration that drew an end to 2013, there is optimism in the air and a renewed vigor.

We have much to look forward to in 2014. IMIESA magazine continues to grow, the infrastructurene.ws website continues to attract new and interested readers and there are some exciting new editorial initiatives on their way. Expect to read about transformation in the industry, technological innovation and direct reporting from the field. We will also be extending our editorial focus on Africa, to include real examples of successful business partnering in the field of infrastructure development.

Work has already begun on the IMESA conference 2014 to be held in eThekweni in October and the South African Institute of Civil Engineers is hard at work putting the final touches on the Civilution Congress scheduled for this coming May.
