Experienced construction advisor Hylton MacDonald will present his paper on the long term planning for infrastructure with regard to a case study in the United Kingdom at the 2014 Civilution Congress.
MacDonald will address systematic problems with the view of breaking away from the traditional pattern of development as well as the supporting balanced and sustainable growth in the economy, both economically and environmentally.MacDonald is the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) international representative for South Africa as well as the chairperson of ICE-SA, ICE-SCE and is a construction advisor for Aveng Construction. He has more than 37 years of post-graduate experience in various forms of construction and design projects in the fields of civil engineering, road and earthworks, multidisciplinary, rail, concession, EPC and EPCM projects.
