Gauteng Premier will attend Infrastructure Africa 2014 | Infrastructure news

Gauteng Premier David Makhura and MEC Nandi Mayathula-Khoza from the Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development (GPDID) are scheduled to attend Infrastructure Africa 2014.

Debating critical infrastructure

The need for infrastructure development in emerging markets is critical. For South Africa, the emphasis on infrastructure development has been further highlighted by the recent signing of a proclamation by President Jacob Zuma this past week, bringing into operation the Infrastructure Development Act, 2014.  The Act will come into operation with effect from 1 July 2014.

Supporting the need to debate and unlock the business opportunity within infrastructure development, the 3rd annual Infrastructure Africa Business Forum has become a prestigious and strategic event to attend; being recognised by its strategic government and corporate partners.
