IMESA invites you to KwaZulu-Natal for the IMESA 2014 Conference, co-hosted by Ethekwini Municipality, at the Durban International Convention Centre from 28 to 31 October 2014.

Efficient planning is now paramount to balance human, material and financial resources to achieve government’s objectives to meet its service delivery targets. Because proposed new legislation around infrastructure development is putting more pressure on the efficient delivery of services across the built environment, IMESA has made this year’s theme ‘Balancing Service Delivery’.

The whole process will become a balancing act from initial planning and design, followed by procurement and implementation in the shortest possible time without compromising quality. The following sub-themes will form the focus of the 2014 Conference:

• political and legislative perspectives • ecological and environmental impacts • financial considerations • transport and traffic • water and sanitation • roads and stormwater
