Lefadi Makibinyane resigns as CEO of CESA | Infrastructure news

Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) CEO Lefadi Makibinyane has resigned unexpectedly and is currently serving his notice until the end of January.

According to  CESA President Abe Thela, Makibinyane stated that it was not an easy decision for him to make, but unfortunately after all considerations put before him, he found it to be the most optimal decision to make at this current moment in his professional career.

He thanked CESA for the opportunity and support it gave him over the past 18 months of his tenure, wishing CESA and the sector it represents all the luck going forward.

“CESA wants to acknowledge Mr Makibinyane’s contribution to the organisation. We wish him well in his future endeavors, especially as the new CEO of Amatola Water,” says Thela.

IMIESA Magazine and www.infrastructurene.ws would also like to acknowledge Mr Makibinyane’s contribution to the industry, and to thank CESA and Makibinyane for their willingness and generosity in providing valuable sector commentary and access to the association’s events and members.

CESA’s contribution to public sector infrastructure and municipal engineering, including their partnership with the Institute of Municipal Engineering Southern Africa (IMESA), is highly valued and intrinsic to the development of the sector.
