Service delivery protests – Zuma says government is delivering | Infrastructure news

President Jacob Zuma told Parliament that the recent spate of service delivery protests are not the result of government is failing to deliver services.

According to Zuma, government is doing all it can to provide services. He went on to say that there are other reasons that spark protest action, such as conflict among residents in an area.

“Some of the protests are because people are impatient,” said Zuma. According to the president, people become impatient when they see services delivery taking place in nearby areas. “They get agitated by the very delivery that they see,” he said.
