Alf Hartzenberg, national project manager for the Industrial Energy Efficiency Project at the CSIR chats with Energy Forecast editor Gregory Simpson, about all things energy.
Hartzenberg says the project has been running for six years and highlights some of its achievements. This includes the saving of R1,8 billion in energy spend and thousands of kW of electricity. He also touches on energy management systems and feeding young graduates into the programme.
