SBS Tanks® is ticking all the occupational health and safety boxes and making their mark as an industry leader in water storage by securing a SABS 18001 certification.

OHSAS 18001, the Occupational Health and Safety Series, is an international standard that indicates a company’s adherence to stringent health and safety procedures.

After a 4-month audit of SBS Tanks® entire operation, from steel delivery at the factory to the final tank commissioning in the field, SABS KZN made the official handover of the OHSAS 18001 certificate and flag on 28 February at the SBS Tanks® Head Office in KwaZulu-Natal.

According to Lead auditor for SABS KZN, Jai Gansan, said it is a huge achievement to display your SABS certification towards health and safety.

“Not many companies strive for certification as prestigious as ours, but SBS Tanks® has gone above and beyond in achieving this. Congratulations to your team and we look forward to a good partnership in the future,” he notes.

Managing Director of SBS Tanks®, Delayne Gray, notes that this certification gives SBS Tanks® the competitive edge in gaining confidence in its products as the company continues to strive to improve its performance.
