Passengers at the Gautrain Malboro station were left stranded on Tuesday night.
Gautrain officials said the reason for the delay, was a technical glitch. One commuter was heard on Talk Radio 702 saying that “We were stuck for about 45 minutes. We got these accouncements that said {Gautrain} had structural problems.”According to a Errol Braithwaite from Gautrain, normal operations had resumed.
Mr Braithwaite also mentioned that when they pick up a problem with one of the trains, the correct safety protocol is to take the train out of service.
