Mark Erasmus has resigned as MD of Volvo Trucks Southern Africa with immediate effect. His responsibilities will be taken over by Torbjörn Christensson, Volvo Group SA president.
Christensson says, “Mark has been with Volvo Trucks SA for 16 years during which he served the company with loyalty and passion. We wish him all the best in his new endeavours.”“Within the next week we are entering a new era in the history of our company with the launch of a new flagship range, the FH, as well as introducing our new FM and FMX ranges. We believe these model introductions will go a long way in entrenching our position as one of the leading truck manufacturers in the country.”
Volvo Trucks SA currently has 15 dealers in South Africa, and is in the process of strengthening and developing its footprint in the country, and further into the region.
