Johannesburg residents have been urged to allow more time for their daily commute as the City has announced it will spend R210-million on much-needed upgrades to M1 freeway bridges and associated stormwater drainage systems.

The project will be overseen by the Johannesburg Roads Agency and is expected to take 15 months to complete.
