The delegation that came to visit the Transnet Port Terminal last week consisted of board members of  the Gaborone Container Terminal (GABCON), as well as colleagues from TFR who  also sit on the GABCON board.

TFR has a stake in GABCON Terminal and the delegation wanted to have a better view and understanding of the Transnet supply chain, hence the visit to the car and container terminals in Richards Bay.

The welcomed delegation was impressed by the efficient Transnet rail siding Operations together with loading and offloading of units by Transnet Port Terminals and claimed to have gained substantial learnings from the experience.
