The South African Shippers’ Council (SASC) serves as a representative body of cargo owners and logistics service providers in Southern Africa.
SASC seeks to represent South African cargo owners in all matters tsouther afrihat affect the competitiveness of South African supply chains globally. SASC therefore strives to understand the infrastructural, human resource, and other needs and requirements of members / potential members, and to influence relevant stakeholders through collaborative efforts. Therefore SASC lobbies on behalf of industry and engages with Government and other players on strategic issues in a positive manner for the benefit of South Africa as a whole. This can have a direct influence on the efficiencies of, and relationships within, South African supply chains and country’s competitive advantage. SASC also supports and aligns itself with other bodies to work towards better infrastructure and operations for South African cargo owners and the South African economy. SASC also seeks to collaborate with you, ascertaining the needs and concerns of your organisation, to serve as the basis for improving operations, adding value to industry, and seeking competitive advantage, in a context where striving for maximum efficiency is critical.
