FAW signs R20m deal in Mozambique | Infrastructure news

FAW Vehicle Manufacturers South Africa has delivered 20 J6 truck tractors to Universal Trans-Logistics LDA (UTL) in Mozambique.

The deal is worth an estimated R20 million.

“UTL based out of Beira, Mozambique, is convinced of this strategic partnership with FAW SA,” says UTL operations manager, Juber Shaikh. “While this is our first investment into the FAW truck brand, we are satisfied with our choice following reports from other fleet owners and our due diligence indicating reasonable costs of operation.”

Commencing operations in 2010, UTL is a provider of transportation and logistics management services throughout the South East Africa region.
