Waterforeveryone has provided a platform for communities and organisations to develop innovative approaches to improve access to fresh and safe water, as well as share knowledge and raise global awareness. The platform allows individuals and organisations, both public and private, to connect with one another and share their knowledge and expertise, support existing concrete initiatives and create new ones, promote innovative solutions, and contribute to the online resource centre by posting articles, news, research findings etc. Waterforeveryone is a non-profit organisation registered in Switzerland. It was developed by a multidisciplinary group of professionals who aim to increase the amount and access of clean water available to millions of people across the planet. “With more than 10% of the world’s population not having access to safe, drinkable water, there is more we can do to help alleviate this statistic,” said Mathieu Lamolle, founder of Waterforeveryone. “We strongly believe that every step counts to find out effective and sustainable local solutions for this global challenge.” Lamolle said the purpose of this community platform is to educate people while encouraging collaborations for a more efficient end goal.
