Eastern Cape to increase motor vehicle licence fees | Infrastructure news

All fees for motor vehciles will be increased with 8% in the Easern Cape as from the 1st of July 2012. The Eastern Cape is currently the fourth highest in the country in comparison with other provinces.

It is important to note that the increase of miscellanous fees such as learners and driving licence tests, roadworthy test have been taken over by the Road Traffic Managment Cooperation. Provinces will have no control of these types of fees.

Personilaised number plates and the agency fees for Registering Aithorities will not be increased.
