At least 19 people have been killed following a collision between a truck and train on Friday morning.
The truck, which was serving as transport for farm workers, was at a level crossing between Hectorspruit and Malalane when the train smashed into it.Reports initially estimated that up to 30 people could have been killed, but Netcare 911 paramedics have confirmed that 19 people have been killed and 24 injured.
