At last week’s 24th annual Logistics Achiever Awards, IMPERIAL Logistics was among South Africa’s top-performing companies honoured for logistics and supply chain excellence. IMPERIAL Logistics group companies Volition Consulting Services and IMPERIAL Logistics Refrigerated Services netted the gold for their contribution to transforming Woolworths’ supply chain. A brand new distribution business model – developed by IMPERIAL Distribution in response to changes within the South African FMCG and retail environments – secured a silver award for the company. The group’s second silver award was presented to IMPERIAL Online, for the IT solutions specialist’s role in one of the largest data centre relocation projects ever undertaken in South Africa.

IMPERIAL Logistics’ collaboration with Mpowered Business Solutions, in the development of a tailor-made solution to effectively measure BEE, won a bronze award.

In the Environmental Category, an Enviro Award was presented to IMPERIAL Logistics group company TFD Network Africa, for the establishment of a countrywide sustainable warehouse programme.

‘These awards are tangible recognition of the way in which we are consistently driving client competitiveness’ adds Cobus Rossouw, Chief Integration Officer of IMPERIAL Logistics.
