IMIESA won a coveted PICA Award in the Editorial Excellence – Busines-to-Business:  Non-professional Writer of the Year category. The author of the article submitted in this category was Stewart Gibson from Stewart Gibson & Associates.

“Gibson’s article, titled Service delivery solutions for water solutions – learning from private business, highlights how experienced staff, planning, budgeting and collection of income enable efficient and effective water delivery at a municipal level,” explains IMIESA editor Richard Jansen van Vuuren.

The judges’ comments outlined that Stewart presented a highly detailed and insightful examination of the priorities and practicalities of delivering on the promise of water and sanitation for all South Africans.

“This is the second consecutive year IMIESA has won this particular PICA award which is testament to the fact that our industry expert contributions for the title are of the highest standard,” states Jansen van Vuuren.

The magazine also received a Highly Commended Certificate in the Business to Business Publishing Excellence – Construction, engineering and related industries category at last night’s awards function.
