Consulting engineering company, GIBB has appointed Tanya Faber, an Environmental Assessment Practitioner with 13 years of experience to the position of Environmental Legal Practitioner.

Faber has over six years of experience with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) processes in South Africa and in various African countries. Her key experience includes process and project management on EIAs and Basic Assessments for various medium and large-scale environmental projects.

At GIBB, Faber’s role entails providing in-house environmental and legal advisory support, among other responsibilities. She has been involved with due diligence assessments, legal compliance assessments, stakeholder engagement as well as external reviews for the Mpumalanga Department of Agriculture and Land Administration as well as Western Cape Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning.
