The TBN Club meets every two months affording members of the shipping fraternity along with freight forwarders and logistics personal the opportunity to network.

Guest speaker at the September event Zunaid Pochee the Trans Kalahari Corridor Secretariat spoke about the advantages for moving freight along this corridor.

Rod Reaton, from KNOTS (Knowledge of Southern African Transport Services) who also does part time work for the SA Maritime School, is the main driver behind making this event a success says, “These TBN lunches grew out of the Association of Ships Agents and Brokers who used to have a monthly meeting, we thought it would be better to turn it into a networking opportunity where the industry could meet at the Brynston County Club in a relaxed atmosphere whist enjoying a great lunch.”

The next TBN Club event takes place in November and for further information contact Diane Schmidt on 083-481-1820 or tbn-club@hotmail.com.
