Mark Erasmus is joining Scania Southern Africa as Regional Director for Gauteng, starting from 4 November.

He succeeds Alec Mack who is taking on a new position with Scania in Iraq.

Steve Wager, MD Scania Southern Africa, says “We are convinced that Mark’s extensive knowledge and experience of the heavy truck industry will be a significant contribution to our growth in South Africa and it is my pleasure to welcome him to the Scania team.”

Mark has a successful background in the heavy commercial vehicles industry and has held numerous positions within the sales and services areas. His last position was MD for Volvo & Renault HCV in South Africa.
