Water tank owners have denied allegations that they’re tampering with pipelines in the North West Province, in order to get lucrative contracts from the municipality. The Madibeng Municipality uses at least six privately contracted companies to supply rural areas. Violent protests erupted in the Mothotlung Township last week, over the claims.
