Nestle is working with the Department of Water Affairs to determine how large quantities of coffee creamer landed up on the Mooi River in the Cape Province, turning the water white.
The Department has assured the community of Tlokwe that the situation was under control and allayed fears that the event was a toxic spill.
The investigation intents to uncover the exact circumstance that led to the spill and Nestle was cooperating fully to bring the situation under control.
