The City of Ekurhuleni towards the end of 2014 obtained a clean audit for the first time in 14 years together with its 5 entities when the Auditor General Terence Nombembe made his anouncement. This comes after President Jacob Zuma highlighted the City in his State Of the Nation Address in 2014 as one of the regions suffering corruption in Gauteng.
