There’s a collapse in water service to KwaMhlanga in Mpumalanga. Residents have been without clean potable water for over 2 months.
The village falls under the Thembisile Hani District Municipality, which receives water from Rand Water, City of Tshwane and DR JS Moroka District Municipality. The municipality says money obtained from rates does not cover their water bill. Residents are resorting to desperate – and dangerous – methods to mitigate its impact.
